Help Riverflow move from vision to reality!

Riverflow Community is renovating its first therapeutic lifesharing home. This home will welcome three individuals with special needs and become a place where these individuals can pursue a meaningful life while contributing their many abilities to an extended family household. We need your help to make this a reality.

The house and property Riverflow purchased was neglected for 6 years and needs lots of love and support to become the bustling community home we are imagining. We need your help to get the house renovated so that we can open our doors in Fall 2024!

Keep Us Fed:

Kitchen Renovations

Help us bring to life the heart of the home. The kitchen is the place we all end up hanging out. It is the center of nutrition, food processing, and warmth. The hustle and bustle of the kitchen, the meaningful conversations while preparing the gift of a good meal to those who have been out and about, is a mini festival every time. We need your help getting the Community Kitchen built.

How much we need to raise:

$65,000

Keep Us Safe:

Sprinkler system and fire alarm system

We will be a licensed Therapeutic Care Residence (TCR) and with that comes significant safety codes that are necessary for the kind of inclusive life we are creating. We need your help in supporting safety as we make this house a home.

How much we need to raise:

$175,000

Keep Us Accessible:

ADA accessible entrances and bathroom

Accessibility is an important value to the Riverflow Community so that we can welcome anyone who wants to visit or be part of the community. Help us make our home accessible and open!

How much we need to raise:

$20,000

We also want our floors to be accessible

We have removed all wall-to-wall carpeting and will be laying down accessible flooring. In much of the house there is beautiful hardwood and we hope to be able to match this with a gift from you.

How much we need to raise:

$30,000

Keep Us Warm and Energy Efficient:

Insulation and heating system

We need vapor barriers and insulation in two crawl spaces to reduce moisture and cold air coming into the house from below. The attic, which has old insulation with little value, needs insulating to keep the house warm from above. And, the heating system needs updating so that we can heat the house efficiently, for the environment and future of our earth.

How much we need to raise:

$75,000

Keep Us Radiant:

Interior and exterior makeover

Last but not least, we need to paint the house inside and out. This house has not been lived in for the last 6 years and needs some love. With a full new paint job this house will be as good as new - beauty and dignity go hand in hand!

How much we need to raise:

$75,000

Help Us Fully Own the House:

We need the final $400,000 to own our home outright.

We had a generous anonymous donor gift our project $500,000, giving us the courage to move this project from dreaming into reality. We are hoping that another amazing founding donor or group of donors will help us own the land fully so that we can start the process of planning the full site development with more community homes.
