Help Us Unfold Our Three Year Vision

Thanks to the generosity of many Founding Donors, grants, and the hard work of the Board of Directors, the Riverflow team is delighted to share that we have opened the doors of our first therapeutic community home! Dreams can come true. The community is underway, with members sharing nutritious meals; learning fiber arts, woodworking, and landscaping; building life skills; exploring the surrounding area; and celebrating seasonal festivals and birthdays together. We have been warmly welcomed into Monkton, with neighbors stopping by, donations of furniture, offers of volunteering, and much interest in the new program we are creating. On a Friday evening, you might find us singing musicals with accompaniment on the baby grand piano (an in-kind donation), enjoying a pizza night, or a community favorite - movie night!

Next Steps:

With our first home opened, we are already looking to the future and how to make this community available to more individuals in need of an inclusive community setting. We are designing and dreaming of four more therapeutic homes, a post and beam barn,  a greenhouse, a garden shed, more tools to support our land work (see the wish list below), and a pole barn for animals to live safely outside in all weather conditions. The site plan for this future build-out is underway. We need your help to bring us to our full potential!
